Again it uses the Rabbit RCM2000 processor module to do the 'hard sums' plus discrete electronics to handle the step pulse generation and IO.
It is built on a 2 layer PTH pcb, with surface-mount components. It is approximately 100mm wide by 175mm long, and around 15mm high. Low and flat, if its pre-decessor was the 'cube' this had to be the 'slab'.
it features 6 axes of step pulse generation, plus 32 IO, (16 IN, 16 OUT) ... all IO, including stepper signals has tell-tale LED's to make debugging much simpler.
