This was the second variant of the G2002. Again it uses the Rabbit RCM2000 processor module to do the 'hard sums' plus discrete electronics to handle the step pulse generation and IO. It is built on a 2 layer PTH pcb, with surface-mount components. It is approximately 100mm wide by 175mm long, and around 15mm high. Low and flat, if its pre-decessor was the 'cube' this had to be the 'slab'. it features 6 axes of step pulse generation, plus 32 IO, (16 IN, 16 OUT) ... all IO, including stepper signals has tell-tale LED's to make debugging much simpler.
